Could Someone Please Post a Picture of their Remington Model 31 Buttplate?

Could someone please post a picture of their Remington model 31 buttplate, preferably of a U.S. marked M31 or at least WWII era? I can't find any other decent pictures of that end of a "property" marked M31 and its the only thing I need to verify on my M31. Did they use the same mottled brown bakelite buttplates as on the wartime Model 11's?

.... Or describe a known example of a buttplate.

Here's what I found. Don't remember what mine had on it. By the way, this was a riot gun.

Thanks so much for taking the time to post that, I really appreciate it.

A riot? nice catch! Wait, did you have to add that buttplate yourself: "Don't remember what mine had on it"? Or "Didn't"?

This pic isn't my gun. Mine was a full length and I cut it to riot. I don't remember what it had on it. Brown is typical of older buttplates though. I have an earlier 870 and it has a brown buttplate.
    Regards, Jim
