    Interesting

On that site again, I have a feeling that the cross bolt that the front lense attaches to the nose cap may be the one rusted in and immovable anyway have a look they are pretty rare I reckon and will be interesting to see where it goes sadly I cannot afford that one.....Rare George Gibbs WW1 LEE Enfield NO1MKIII 303 Sniper Sight Similar TO Lattey | eBay

I was 'going for it' but its already reached beyond my meagre allowance with 24 hours still to go.

Still saving up for the No1 Mk3HT
Mine are not the best, but they are not too bad. I can think of lots of Enfields I'd rather have but instead of constantly striving for more, sometimes it's good to be satisfied with what one has...

Uggh! I too saw it. I'm away from my books, would an earlier 1915-16 era rifle be "proper" for this sight?

I know where there is one for sale, in the process of negotiating when sadly some serious family issues arose that have resulted in a big change in direction of some 'major' expenditure.

The 'gun-fund' is starting again from a low base.

Yes, the great Aussie Peso certainly make things expensive.

Just a couple of years ago the Aust $ was such good value. So good that when my wife was out there she spent so many £'s that she asked me to send her some more!

Isn't that always the way Peter, I get some serious questioning when I ask for more!
