Determining originality with certainty of a WWII 1911

I am somewhat new to collecting military 1911's. I am aware that there are books and experts on the subject.

When it comes to a war time production pistol made 70 + years ago , unless things are obvious , how do we determine its originality? How much certainty do we have that this perticular pistol left the factory as it is now or it did not?

Recently bought a 1944 Colt. After researching it for few days ( thats to all the knowlege of people on forums) , I started to wonder about it .

    Any opinons will be appreciated.

Can you take pictures of the pistol and any markings so they can give an informed decision on what you ask
