    I won a Unertl

I seem to never win a bid on Ebay. Maybe the economic woes are bringing these fine scopes out of the woodwork, and keeping some out of the market for them. But I am proud to say that I have won my bid for a 2" varmint Unertl in 15X on Ebay. I got it for $585 + shipping. Not too bad If I have to say so myself. There are lots of great deals on hard to get scopes right now.
There are several Lyman STS, and more Unertls than usual.
Spending $500 or more on vintage optics is better than a half ounce of gold.
Gold can go down, but collectable gun stuff does not.

You did well with your scope purchase. I also bought (1) unertl 10x for 350.00 a couple of years ago. I am very happy with it. I also got a Lyman 20X super target spot last year, I use it on my 52D, shoots well. Slim

    Kudos on the Unertl snag!!!
They are a very fine scope.
You'll have a lot of fun using it.
I too have one and it just fits me and my rifle.
