Took Some Girl Friends Pumpkin Hunting

College life can be incredibly stressful at times, and some of my lady friends needed to get out for abit. They had never shot before, and are always asking to go, so I figured it was a perfect weather day for it! Plus we had some pumpkins that were just asking for it. I know they're form isn't perfect, but today was just about them learning the safety, aiming, and recoil aspect. Needless to say we all went back to campus stress free and smiling, and they're already asking when they can shoot again!

They did admit the Garandicon was a tad heavy for their liking, lol!

I hope the young lass with blonde hair 2nd last pic had her thumb clear of the slide prior to letting a round go as I have seen people railed by semi auto slides and it is not real pretty nor painless!

Other than the summer heat here, Texas is the BEST country in the world!

I still miss Texas :-( ... (I have moved back to Europe)

You need to teach the girls a proper stance when shooting the rifles ;-)

    Times 100 indeed Russ!

And I can take the month or so heat here... I just blast the air conditioner in my house and the AC unit in our hunting cabin.
