A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. Ebay has lots of Vetterli parts. Numrich might be another source.

I did just find a nosecap on Ebay that I think fits mine and have asked the seller if it does, but that's about it. Numerich did not have in stock what I needed, Liberty Tree was a strikeout but I will keep looking

Ebay is not instantaneous usually but it will show up eventually. Swissicon Vetterli parts show up a lot so you should be able to get what you need fairly quickly. I know because I was seeking Italianicon Vetterli parts, (which are less common) and saw the Swiss stuff constantly.

I've bought a ton of stuff off Ebay and my advice is to have what you are willing to pay and stick to it. If something goes too high, just wait for the next one. You do need to be reasonable however. If things consistently sell at a high price, you may have to venture there yourself.

Your sling is probably non-existent although there are a few fellows that make reproductions out there. The cleaning rod will not be cheap. Expect to pay $50 and up for one.
