    Belgian War Dead Register

    Belgian War Dead Register http://www.wardeadregister.be/en

Is there a veteran in my family? How many Belgian soldiers perished between '14-'18? How many lived in my community? Who were these guys? What did they look like? Were they young or old? Married or did they not yet have the chance? What did they do before the war? How and where did they die?
Have you got questions about family members, acquaintances, people from your town and / or strangers that died during First World War?

Look for the answers in the Belgian War Dead Register, the Veterans' Institute's online database. With the original records of the fallen soldiers.

Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle.
