    M-283 Signal Lamp

I was wondering if you guys could help me out with finding information about this signal lamp my father found. He has two of them they both are in really good condition (besides the cords being cut). He told me the year is 1941, but I couldn't find the year on the plates or anywhere on the lamp. Any information about the value, rarity, or anything would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately I have zero knowledge with that one, but we have MANY experts across the board here and I hope someone will know about it. Keep checking back in!

    Date on a Plate

On the picture of brass nomenclature plate, there is the Order no. Phila 42. So your light was ordered out of the Signal Corps Philadelphia procurement office in 1942.
