    I remember these

Carried a few of these when they were chockers and that was not much fun why they did not even supply pegs you had a good view of the contents prior to the emptying, then go and have food in the mess Oh! lordy food tasted just the same as the smell.........

Yes a definite shed full in that backyard, wonder if he charges for all the redback spiders that are sure to be in the mix.

Used to be a bit annoying sitting on one when someone else drops the lid, a very smelly rush of wind up between the legs.

Much more fun burning off the pit though, petrol in the hole and drop a match..........watch all the lids clanging back together.

I had to look up what a Red-back Spider is. (Nasty bite!)

In my search I found there was also a popular song in Australiaicon from the 70's that talked about a Redback Spider on an outdoor toilet seat! (ONLY in OZ!)

    Then
I went back and looked your photos again of the Thunderbox for SALE on eBay!
    (GAVE ME CHILLS!)

Yep there is one in there for sure as that's their style of web, contrary to belief it may look a disorganized mess unlike the tidy job an orb weaver spider does but the red backs web is highly complex for snaring prey and the spiders ability to zero in on the victim.
I will not be sitting on that T B.....no sir
