Got mine on Tuesday. SA 52 barrel on mine, but I got an original finish June 42 receiver so I'm okay with that.

I received 3 Winchester Garands last week - a Rack, Field, and Service grade. One was made the month I was born so it is definitely a "keeper". The Rack grade had a HRA barrel - TE=5.5. The Field grade had S-A-2-52 with TE=3.0. The Service grade had an SA 12-54 barrel with a TE=3.0. There were almost no WRA parts but I am very pleased with the rifles. Now all I need is to find 3 WRA barrels!

Looking through the rack at N Store yesterday

None of the Winchesters had Winchester barrels.

I received a Rack Grade last week which had a SA barel dated 2-52. The barrel was worn (TE 6, MW 3). The rifle was in good over all condition, but had no WInchester parts at all..

I can't believe that the site FINALLY switched over to the standard forum format type...Years overdue!
