I have always had the greatest admiration for the soldiers chosen to guard the Tomb Of The Unknown Soldier. A very elite group.

Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Ever been? Goose bump inducing. Zero tolerance of any infringement of the Plaza, even the wheel of a baby stroller will elicit a warning from the Sentinel.
I think I remember some years back some coo coo bird tried to attack the tomb with a hammer and got his head smashed in.

I have seen videos only and they illicit goosebumps as well. The detication and dicipline required is awe humbling & inspiring.
