German Depot rework of a matched 1930 VZ24

I've been looking for a Germanicon depot reworked VZ24 for quite a while now; about 7 or 8 years. Finally found one last week. There is no depot mark as such, so for the time being I'll 'assume' HZw Kassel from the maker of the stock take down disc (Kal6). The rework added the take down disc, removal and plugging of the wrist swivel, and the removal of the left side rear band swivel. At the same time I presume the Imperial forced matched trigger guard and floor plate were added. Bore is fair, but dark; I hope it will shoot cleaner. I've added an original cleaning rod, sight cover, re-arsenaled bayonet, and a reproduction sling.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle.
