looking for info/input on my ww2 era browning hi-power

    hi,
i've just aquired a browning hi-power from ww2. i know the person who brought it back from germany in 1945/46, he is still alive and in good health. it has not been out of his possession since, except for having a new barrel installed several years ago. any input would be appriciated.
    thanks
    jd

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Very nice, I had one years ago and it's finish was nothing near that one. I think mine was made a bit later though under harsher conditions.

Nice looking Browning Hi-power... IMHO ...

If it's a vet bring back, then it's got a good provenance...

You should get the original owner to document its history for you, while he's still among us ..

    Regards,
    Doug
