A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. pretty rough gun Charlie. I'm seeing a well worn gun that has been re-parked. Looking close you can see lot of pitting and the dings in the muzzle crown are a dead giveaway, under that new park job. All sitting in a well sanded stock....I wouldn't let the fancy white paint sway me.....that's what I see. That my 2 cents worth.

Did anybody else notice the seller name and struggle with pronouncing it correctly the first time?

It's unique is the best thing I could say about it. If one is going to repark something, wouldn't you want the colors to be more original looking though? It's one of those things that's hard to put a price on though since it's been redone to such an extent. Overall, not something I'd buy and I want a 7 million Winchester too.

I have to give the seller credit for all the pictures he posted. I wish more sellers would do all the pictures. Most will not do even if you ask for more, so I never buy from them without pictures.

This serial number indicates June 1945 production at WRA. They were well into M2 production by then. Can I see a "2" overstamped on the "1" on the receiver ring photo?

I'd bet the 1 is over stamped by a 2.
I own an Inland 7199xxx that's duly taxed and over stamped 2 with barrel dated 4/45.......

There is no 2 over stamp on that receiver ring. All my 7m Winchesters are very lightly stamped, just as this one. I would take that bet.
