    K31 Swiss

Shot my K31icon last week and thought it wasn't too bad (first picture), when I was putting it away
noticed the action screws. Decided to check them and found they were loose. Torqued them up before I put it away. Finally got time to shoot it today. Definitely glad I bought this gun. Shot a MOA group with the iron sights. Would accept this group from a scoped deer rifle.

My only complaint about the K31icon and Schmidt Rubin series of rifles is they didn't have action locking screws like on some Mausers, as I find those screws for whatever reason loosen up much easier than most of my other rifles.

FWIW: I believe most shooters get best accuracy from a K-31 by having front guard screw tight and rear guard screw just snug. Over tightening the rear screw may cause the barrel to lift, upsetting bearing with stock and hand-guard (near muzzle).
