    What Value Junk?

I've been following this one on the NZ Trade Me site, to the casual observer it looks like just another beat up receiver,
    Attachment 71432

.........but lift the bolt handle, and another world opens up.
    Attachment 71431

This 1939 Lithgowicon receiver with matching bolt, sold for the princely sum of $53NZ.
This year on Lithgow rifles would be about the 5th rarest, with only 840 made.
Even in it's partial state in OZ it would have fetched about $500.

Now my problem is that I cannot bid on this site, only NZ firearms licenced holders are able to purchase firearms or major components, so I need a middleman.

I tried to organise a Importer/Exporter that advertises here once before when chasing a 1938 Lithgow, but after the initial communications he just did not answer my Emails, that rifle sold for $134NZ (enough to make you cry.)

So if there's anyone who knows a reliable agent over there, or is willing to help, please get in touch, I only need the initial sale and export assistance, from the Kiwiland side.

Muffer try 5thBatt or nzl1a1collector (on the FAL forum) if they can't help direct maybe know someone who can or who regular imports exports. I'll give my brother a call see if he knows anyone as he runs a Military vehicle club, may have a few contacts.

If you ever see anything in the UKicon similar or full rifle, sights etc don't hesitate to get in touch with me more than willing to help.
