    GHS Cartouche

Would a rifle in the 449,000 serial range have a large or small Ordnance wheel cartouche? I've read that this serial number range could overlap when they changed between large and small.
    Thanks for any help.

You can find both large and small Ordnance wheel stamps throughout the SA GHS serial number range starting in the fall of 1941 up to June 1942. Most but not all later SA GHS cartouches have the smaller size Ordnance Wheel stamp
