    Help on butt indentification

Attachment 71806Steve Marshall on the NZicon Lee Enfield group has given me dibs on a butt, I want it for a 1904 Sht LE mk 1 build, however it looks like it has been modified for a Sht LE mk1* with butt trap, or is it from a pre WW1 SMLE, it has been inletted for a SMLE sling swivel.

What was this originally from and has it been modified from its original form?

    Thanks
