    No1 MKIII or MKIII* pattern?

    Hello.
I am attempting to understand which pattern is correct for my No1 1915.
According to my knowledge, I am asking myself:
    looking the butt socket
    Attachment 71891
I can see the star lined out after the III.

Looking the rifle I see the correct fore-end and handguards for the MKIII
    Attachment 71890Attachment 71892

the cutoff device, the rear sight with wind-gauge, just the plate of the volley sight,

    Attachment 71889
unit disc hole recovered but not sure if taken away in arsenal (found vinilic glue around the wood disc), no strange or particular (by my knowledge) markings on the butt stock......is it a MkIII without some parts or a MkIII* somehow aborted??

If someone needs pictures of specific areas or markings to express his opinion, please feel free to ask.
    Thanks everyone.

Which pattern of WHAT exactly are you unsure about Peval? The answer about the status of a Mk3 and a Mk3* rifle lies entirely with the body. This was covered together with the actual Army Council Instruction (the ACI's) in a recent thread
