    Colt 1911a1 A.R.A. Argentine armada

This interesting 1943 COLT does not belong to me as it's for sale with a reputable gunshop near here; it belongs to the lot of firearms sent to Argentinaicon at the end of WWII and the Argies marked the slide also with ARA Armada Republic Argentine and added their crest; I think it would have been interesting to share.
One thing that I don't know is how many of these pistols were given.

I always tell my collector mates to put originality at the top of their priority list, originality isn't something that can be restored. I've never seen a 1911 I didn't like.

I absolutely love the Argentineicon crest, such nice details to it.
