    Unknown mag loader?

I recently picked up this unknown mag loader and wondered if any-one recognised the identity of the weapon it is intended for, please? It will fit Sten and Sterling mags but will not go down far enough to load a round into the mag. Any ideas gratefully received, thanks.

Hard to say exactly what...I have two here that I use for everything. One is a thumbsaver and the other is Glock. They work on everything between them...

Looks just a smidge different but...guess it'll be close enough. Differences could be over time.

It LOOKS like a loader for the Frenchicon MAT 49 SMG. There has been a huge release of the tan leather pouches for Mags, & cleaning kits released onto the market over the last few years.
The 2 piece cleaning rods have been listed on 'That' Auction site, as for the Sten Gun. Which is totally incorrect, as the Sten had a 1 piece rod!

My Money is on the MAT 49!......
