Used my A4 replica for deer hunting 3 years ago. It shot "Hornady Whitetail" 150gr interlocks at about 1.75 MOA which was about the same as any of my hand loads I had tried from 150 to 178gr.

Given the Weaver 330 scope I didn't expect anything better so I didn't bother with any other brands. Bullet performed well in the field.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. I'll certainly give the Hornaday a test drive. Thanks,

If I were in your shoes I would buy several boxes in different brands of 147-150 grain bullets as well as 165-170 grainers and try them on for size. Shoot five rounds of each off the bench and mark your shots on the target and see which works best. Keep those and have fun practicing with the rest.

Yes, that is what I plan. But, I would like to narrow the field to ammo which others have found accurate in the A3.
