    Clip Eject...

What causes the Clip to eject prematurely...still several unfired rounds in clip?
This problem happened several time using different clips.

Tom, we have a whole series of instructions at the beginning of the Garand/M14icon section. The book is there and has the section about this fault. There are several reasons possible and you should have a look. It's not a short answer...clip latch, or spring...timing, bullet guide...faulty clips...many things. Also there's the search feature at the top of this page.
    Regards, Jim

Rarely is it the clip latch. Most common cause is foreign enblocs, clip latch spring or worn lobe on bullet guide

I ordered a Clip Latch, Clip Latch Spring, Clip LatchPin & a Bullet Guide from Fulton Armory.
Basically I'm shotgunning the whole system.
After I replace these parts if the problem persists, I'll start eliminating the en-block clips, I have plenty....

That's not THAT expensive...and the shipping added to the spring or handling charged will raise the price. It's up to him anyway...

I realize that shotgunning the problem cost more money...
But in the process I'll learn more about the M1icon Garand & the various measurement between parts.
You & I both know the problem wasprobably the en-bloc clip.......

...and sometimes it is just aggravating to order the other stuff part by part...

Not trying to argue but using the shotgun approach replacing parts will not tell you what the issue really was. You could have first tried new enblocs and measured the bullet guide lobe to see if it was inspec. You can also stretch the old clip latch spring and fire he rifle again. If the prblem was solved you would know its the spring and it could have been replaced. In all my years of messing with Garands I have never come across a out of spec clip latch
    Good luck with your rifle
