    Here is a Colt 606 upper that came from Canadaicon back in the late 1980's early 1990's, only the uppers were available as the selective fire lowers were not sold. I understand these are not very common. This has the heavy barrel with a 1 in 12 twist

    Never mind .... Colt just confirmed that those are beginning serial numbers for the listed years.
