    VZ 24 with German Modifications

I am new to this forum and this is my first post. I started really as a milsurg shooter and this rifle was purchased pretty long ago on a quest for a K98kicon. It was an 8mm, nice condition. I learned about the German modifications only recently. Blued bolt, filled in side swivel and additional SNs added. Now the part that gets discussed, it has two Totenkopf marks, one on the upper hand guard and one on the wrist. It has a pretty ugly duffle cut, that helped the price. It was purchased as a shooter, and it shot really well. It now just hangs out in the safe. Most opinions are the Deaths Head are fake, heck most are. A few think they look good and fit the profile, but no other examples have been found for comparison. It is my rifle, I like it the way it is. She served so well at the range and held her own against any other 8mm Mauser, she bested most all of them.
