A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Thanks Henry, I should have recognized the Cadet action. years ago I did install a very heavy 20 inch barrel on a Cadet action and chambered it for the 218 Bee cartridge and
also reduced the diameters of the firing pin and breech block.

That is not quite an "issue" Cadet!

It has a Martini-style tilting block, but that side-lever is something new to me on such an action.

It could be a very serious customisation job or the work of a rather creative gun-maker / gunsmith.

That is some fancy "melding" of steel and wood behind the action body!

So, is this a example of Joe Seeley's work? I think some very nice rifles are coming out of Big Timber!

That is simply beautifull. I would love to have an action like that as a base to build a lovely little varminter on.
