    So getting back to my original inquiry, what was the CFS? I'm sort of imagining them being some sort of Brown Shirts for Peron in that they were disbanded when he was forced out.

    This is from a Rock Island Auction description for an Argentineicon CFS marked pistol:

    The "CFS" marking stands for Consejo Federal de Seguridad (Federal Council of Security), which granted President Peron direct control over all the Argentinean law enforcement agencies. The Council was created in 1951 and was dissolved in 1956.
