A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Its hard to find any Belgian issued Mauser here in Canadaicon. Lovely rifle, I know I have been looking for its older brother the 1889 for a couple years now to no avail.

Does anyone know if a 93 Mauser firing pin will fit? I know The Dealers Warehouse has real 93 Bolts for decent money. Give him a call in Modesto, CA.

Well I looked it up and no they would not interchange (M93 has the interrupted threads, well the M89/91 has just regular threads). That being said you can still find M91 firing pins for sale which should be the same as the 1889 considering they are the same action.

The Dealers Warehouse did have some 91 stuff, give them a try. Also try Springfield Sporters as they have piles of neat stuff.

I'm trying to find a safety lever for this one as well...it's a chore so far.
