    Parker Hale Trigger Group

Gil Boyd ~ I picked this up off that site, Parker Hale parts are rather thin on the ground now for the 1200 series especially an item like this so for $35.00/AU it was a steal I thought.
I do not know if anyone out there is making clone trigger groups for these old girls but that action even though its a commercial Mauser it more than fits the bill.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Bold, Timney and Zastava make compatible trigger mechanisms. You have to make sure that they are for the flat bottom commercial cocking piece however.

I know of a current production Zastava which was directly replaced with a PH1200/C3 trigger mech.

That shouldn't be a problem as the flat cocking piece is the solution to make these adjustable triggers work. It's aftermarket triggers with military cocking pieces where you get problems.

The back end of the PH trigger mechanism is held against the receiver by the rear guard screw bushing. Part of the bedding system. If a different trigger mechanism is used in a PH rifle, it might be necessary to adjust the bedding, or do minor inletting.
The flat bottomed cocking piece holds the sear down. Notched military pattern cocking pieces need an articulated sear or trigger mechanism.
I've seen PH trigger mechanisms with the little tab that blocks the sear broken off the safety. Something to check if a used mechanism turns up.
