    NZ issue P1907 bayonet

An NZicon marked and issued 1916 dated Wilkinson P1907 is with me, thanks to our very own Kevin the Kiwi going above and beyond the call of duty, locating and securing it for me.

You are a star sir, my NZ issue SMLE is finally complete with an NZ marked bayonet for the first time in 100 years to honour the spirit of the ANZAC's!

    Many thanks Kevin..

Pics to follow when I get the chance

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Very nice 5th, a 1910 scabbard also, I'm not up on the frogs but certainly a nice example. I've my 1910, 4th Manchester Regiment marked one for sale but had no takers yet...... also a 1910scabbard.

The frog is a NZ pattern for the NZ Mounted Rifles

That is something special. If that isn't the pride of your collection you have too many bayonets.

Another NZicon P1907 while the wait goes on. Only if this girl could talk, 2/18 Sanderson with false edge. It appears the D/|\ was stamped over the N/|\Z, sold or stolen from one to the other????

Sorry guys, works just ridiculous and all consuming at the moment, I will get it photographed with my NZicon issue SMLE in a couple of weeks, heading down to the range, so will take the camera...

Love the NZ hooky, now that is a very rare beast!
