M1 Carbine 30 Round Magazine Opinion

I have four new 30 round mags that were wrapped in a waxed brown wrapper. They appear to be a very solid built magazine. The only identity mark that I find on the mags are a number 3 on the lower back of the mag. I also would like to know opinions on some 30 round mags that show M2 on the lower back of the mag. These mags seem to be somewhat flimsy compared to the previous mentioned mag. Thanks in advance for your help.
