Does the pouch hold 3 or 4 mags and what is the purpose of the "pull tape" on the end section which has the inner flap, please? Thanks for the info. The Polish weapons of the Cold War era that I have seen have been relatively well made compared with other Eastern Europe state's weapons of the same period.

It holds 3 magazines and the pull tape is to aid in getting the oil bottle and tools out.

For reference and general knowledge, CF 82 Pattern C7 Rifle Magazine and C9 Belt Box pouches were equipped with pull tape to aid in extracting ammunition from those pouches. The pulls have eliminated from any of the subsequent load bearing designs I have seen to date.

When they were wet or when the tapes were fully extended, we'd see the troops pounding on their magazines trying to return them to pouch. I cut mine out with a Swissicon knife immediately, it gave me more room to replace the mags and nothing in the way. Also the troops would wash and machine dry the webbing and it would shrink. That didn't help.
    Regards, Jim
