    Bullet behaviour video.

    See here:

Hypnotic video made using a camera capable of a million frames / second.

See bullets striking paper, steel, glass, ballistic gel, etc.

Probably could have done without the "techno" soundtrack; a bit of Strauss (Blue Danube? Too many Kubrick films?) sprung to mind after a few dozen bars. I just turned the audio down.

That said, I watched it a couple of times and shunted back and forth over a few bits.

    See what you think.

Great video, even with the Deter soundtrack. Some of the best shots I have seen. I used to have access to a lot of ballistic resistant material when I began to shoot military surplus. The engineers would look so astonished when I showed them what an old military surplus rifle did their creations. It was mostly Lexan and Kevlar.

They're even more astounded when they see what an arrow with broadhead will do.

Funny thing, I did shoot a few arrows from a 45 lb compound bow with a nice nasty hunting tip, they got stuck hard

Try them against body armor that stops low velocity and fragmentation, they go right through. The kinetic energy is far greater than a bullet...

Guess that comes down to the focusing of the arrows energy to a continuous pin point pushing through where as a LV round will start to expand grow bigger in dia = more surface area dissapating the energy quicker my guess anyway.
Heres one that was a surprise even to the presenter; https://www.google.com.au/url?sa=t&r...36499718,d.cGw

Try this one Jim I deleted the other one.
