    And yes, retro black rifles are a disease. I started with a parts mutt A2 that is now mostly correct except the for the flash hider (XM16 style 3 prong) which is more or less stuck on there. Funny enough the reason I bought it was I couldn't build one for the price I bought it for. Well this one came in at the exact same price! Down the road I'd like to do a 9mm (if I don't pull the trigger on a Taurus CT9) or a dedicated 22LR build.
    I ran into this problem as well. I didn't have time to figure it out so I dropped it off with a smith. They did some slight dremal work and she's dead on now. The barrel was an AR15 sports barrel 1/9 twist.
