    Neat Yard Sale Find

Yard sales are winding down in my area but stopped at one today. Not much to see but a book on a blanket caught my eye. American Heroes by Oliver North. Picked it up and it looked like a decent book so paid the man a dollar, tossed it on the back seat and was on my way. My sister in law was back there and decided to look at it and was saying what a nice book it was. At our next stopped I figured I'd see how far back it went and started leafing through the front and discovered it was autographed by the man himself. Not a huge find but the second autographed copy of a book I've gotten in less than a month. The first being a book on John Force I got at a library book sale for a dollar.

No idea where it was signed, don't recall him having any signings in the area.

When you do pick up a second hand book cheaply it can be interesting to look online to see what the going rate is for that particular book and for some titles it can be quite high. I buy second hand books mainly from charity shops and it is surprising what interesting titles do turn up from time to time.

I vaguely seem to recall that Oliver North may have come over to the U.K. to hold a book signing session but am not certain?
