anyone know which snap caps fit the type 38.. 6.5 ?

It is unlikely that you will find snap caps for the Arisaka icon

6.5. It is not a very common caliber.

It is OK to dry fire your Arisaka rifle on an empty chamber - it won't hurt any thing.

If you want to check magazine function, then you need to have someone make dummy rounds for you. These are rounds that are just cartridge case and bullet - no powder or primer.
