    Slings find - 1914/15 and 1934

Lucked on to a couple of slings today at the Newark Militaria Fair. The first one was a WW1 sling dated 1914 at one end and 1915 the other but by the smae maufacturer so probably made in early 1915 when there were some old stocks of 1914 dated brass ends.
The 2nd sling is dated 1934 so would look good on a No1. MkVI or early Trials rifle if there are any rifle owners out there who need one.Attachment 77417Attachment 77418

Nice. Unfortunately the only dated sling I have seen for sale was dated 1917. It was in poor condition and painted black.
