Help on Winchester serial number and correct barrel

I have a Winchester serial number 5,653,xxx with a “W” on top of barrel with Ordnance bomb on side of gas cylinder (also has standard “PW” within oval proof mark on top of barrel about 5 ¼” from front sight).
Can anyone tell me when this carbine was made and if the barrel is correct for this serial number?
    Thank you.

About May of 1944 for your serial number. The barrel sounds like it's correct for your serial number. hth
