Looked for one of these for a long time and finally found one that had a great bore and was reasonably price.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. I just scored one as well after a long search. My research indicates it is wise to use eye protection when fireing as the odd mateing of the chamber and extractor can cause case failers.
Hope to test mine soon.

Thanks for posting another neat one! Polish M44s are hard enough to find as it is, to get a trainer like that is a super score.

I find it is often better to be lucky than smart. Can't believe I was the first to spot it.
