    That's what they cost though...I had a beauty of a 1928 and if it could have been imported to the US would have gleaned over that buck easy. Instead it goes here for $4000CDN, and as a dewat.

    Sold my 1928 commercial in late 1977 for $1500 cdn dollars along with an MP40 and MK3 sten, they would fetch a small fortune today at a US auction if they could be exported there

    And therein lay my dilemma...and as you know there's not one thing we can do. Actually, deactivating it didn't really bother me. I made enough out of the small stuff that I had, mags and parts to bring it up to decent. Made some good friends along the way too...around the country.
