    International Firearms Bronco .22 rifle

Found this one at a yard sale about 4 years ago with a price tag of $25.00, kind of hard not to like the little rascal. The manufacture also made these in an O/U variation with a .410 under and .22 over. I am told that these could be bought in hardware stores for between $5.00-$15.00 in the early to mid sixties, with this particular rifle being pre 1968 due to its lack of a S/N.

I had one of each back in the '80s, and they cost far more than just $5. I used the .22 only for a while and finally picked up the .22 over .410. I used that one quite well out in the prairies going as far as bagging fast flying teal with the .410. They weren't meant to be shot lots I think, but mine sure was. Don't remember what happened to that one...
    Regards, Jim
