    FN49 Bayonet

I picked this up twenty seven years ago, and don't remember what I paid.

I beleive it to be for an FN49, and I have since sold that rifle. My question, I don't know the value if someone wants it. Any help would be appreciated. I see no markings on it.

    Thanks, Jim

You are correct about it being an FN49. I believe these long bayonets were used by Venezuela. Unfortunately someone polished it.

If it's for a Venezuelan FN 49, the muzzle ring opening should be close to 19mm to fit over their unique flash hider.
