A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. I mean closest to military standard dress...like a service rifle. Those are the ones I like best.

Neat. I have one of the FN Israeli trainers, near new, and a converted K98icon with a Remington barrel. We recently shot the converted one and it shoots better than I can. We have shot the FN, but that was many years back, so I don't recall the results.

I had one that was converted from a G29/40 with a Remington barrel. Interesting rifle and fun to shoot.

    Heavy barrel

I have serial # 008, action is FN. The micrometer sights seem to be Parker Hale? Any information would be appreciated.

The PH sights were often preferred for target shooting in .22. Much clearer and easier to follow well printed on metal instructions.
