Hell Dave I thought you were talking about me. Spent most of yesterday and last night trying to snow throw our first major snow storm!! Crazed City snow plow drivers are the enemy!!!!!!!!!!
Today, my birthday has been spent crying, hiding and sore as hell, just staring out at the white abyss (sp?)
I'm not going out there again.....

What happened to the kids knocking at the door to make a few $$ to shovel or mow?

I've circled my wagons until the thaw,

    Cheers,

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping. Manufacturer of various vintage rifle scopes for the 1903 such as our M73G4 (reproduction of the Weaver 330C) and Malcolm 8X Gen II (Unertl reproduction). Several of our scopes are used in the CMP Vintage Sniper competition on top of 1903 rifles. Brian Dick ... You can spend the frozen season cleaning guns and cycling brass until you can see green again Charlie...which could be Apr/May on a bad year there.

Our designated rat killers, TNT & Fred, around Sep/Oct 1965. You can tell because of the uniforms. The big guy (Fred) used an entrenching tool as his preferred rat slaying weapon. We had lots of them.

When Rambo was down in the mine in 'First Blood' he screamed out when the rats climbed over him while he carried his torch. But only a grunt when free falling 150' down into a tree..........

AZB, That's a lot of rat!
Sure glad PETA wasn't around yet.

Looks like lots of the stuff we've been discussing is still in circulation over there. No wonder it won't come back. They ain't done with it yet.

I have that bumper sticker on my beater pick up. Living near U of M and closer yet to MSU college I love seeing the reactions of people in the rear view mirror. My neighbor is a professor @ MSU and studies/teaches about small mammals. For her it's like looking at the holocaust in my backyard during the summer months, with my mole traps cocked and locked

I'd better quit, getting way off topic.

Dave, the thing I love about this forum is the, shall we say "robust" conversation.. I joined , listened, and participate on the basis that saying what you think isn't a bad thing, as long as it's appropriate, respectful and constructive - which I think you've done. Doesn't mean it can't be a little provocative! 😀
