    Could you good folks perhaps tell me when my SP1 was manufactured. Serial no SP142073.

    Hi Paul,

    Your Colt SP1 was made in 1981. Serial numbers starting at SP134601-SP158200. The following year, 1982 was the last year of SP1 production. Enjoy it. They're great little rifles.
