I recently examined a brown leather close top holster 11 1/4" long measured diagonally appears to be for a revolver size of a S&W K frame 38 4". On the back it has US style wire hooks for belt attachment.
Does this sound like the US WW2 issue for the S&W Victory model?

Attachment 78319Attachment 78320Sort of, sounds a bit long. Can you show us a pic? They made brown and black and there were various revolvers of that size through time. Left or right hand draw?

Anyway, here's pics of the Victory model.

Did some more research. It is for the US Victory model but has a full flap. Appears there were several patterns of holster for the Victory. The measurement was diagonally from the top of the flap to the bottom.

That is it. There is also a shoulder holster.
    Thank you.
I am surprised there is not a US sight like Karkee Web.
