    BBL receivers report

Well, I got them today finally ( I can't exactly remember when I ordered them). They were as advertised but a bargain. One was a 3.7 million with a 5-45 barrel 3/16" bullet test on muzzle, TE 3. The other is a 722xxx with a 7-42 barrel that is shot out so bad that when I run a patch down it it doesn't even spin it just goes straight. Both bbls are rusty inside but the '45 bbl will eventually be shootable I'm sure; the other ... not so much. No chrome on either. The bad bbl has 7.62 stamped on top under the handguard area but takes an '06 cartridge just fine. I wonder what's up with that? The finish on both is mostly 80% or better but there is pitting at the wood contact areas here and there. All in all I'm pleased with my purchase and will post pics in the next day or so. Steve

I have seen the "7.62" stamping on the top of the barrel on some CMPicon barreled receivers. I think it just indicates that it is 30 cal. and not 7.62 x 51.
