Sounds like it could be the retailer who sold them or perhaps the maker rather than a previous owner. Are there any other markings that could be a maker mark? You probably already know that "Wien" is the Austrian/Germanicon way of saying Vienna.

    No I have no idea

I don't know anything about these thing at all. I was looking them up on google and found this site and just thought I would ask you nice people for a little help. My friend thinks that they are worth like 97,000.00, so I had to check. If they are anything close to that price they are getting sold asap. My house burnt down in July and I'm living in a fifth wheel trailer, lost my ebay biz and almost everything I owned. Now being December it's really cold. So I could really use some money to survive on. If anyone knows if they are worth anything substantial, Please let me know.

    Thank you very much.
    Stephanie

FireDyjinn, with something like your binoculars that you wish to sell because you need the money and you think that they may be valuable I would suggest never taking the first offer. I would suggest showing/offering it to at least 3 different and independent people before deciding. Another way of getting a sense of the value is to find a similar pair of binoculars for sale in order to give you an idea.

To be brutally honest, binoculars like these turn up regularly every week on those well known auction sites and sadly, they're ten-a-penny so far as collectability or value. Sorry, but that's how it is. As for useability, they're useless due to many factors
