Exclamation Dr. Charles “Skip” Stratton Passes.......

Dr. Charles “Skip” Stratton, 68, long time University of Idaho professor and avid outdoor enthusiast passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, December 3, 2006. During his retirement, Skip enjoyed exploring the roads less traveled throughout the West in his Jeep, and also found time to author three reference books on Britishicon Enfield Riflesicon.

Skip is survived by his wife of 18 years Lois “Butch” Stratton; his five children, Sandi, Bob, Will, Sue, and Jim; and four grandchildren. Donations can be made to Heart Clinics Northwest at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Washington.
On behalf of our membership, I'd like to extend our deepest sympathies to his wife and family.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Its very sad to loose anyone in our small group of enthusiast . There lives will always survive in the memories of those they have touched and lessons of life will always remain as long as we let them. V.B.R.-SDH
