Have I mounted this m39 sling correctly?

I recently acquired a 1942 Sako M39. I also purchased a matching sling. I believe it's a green civil guard sling. After looking closely I feel like I have mounted it correctly. Just after any knowledgeable opinions as to whether or not it is correctly mounted. Thanks for your time.

And I'm having trouble uploading or linking images :/

The links don't seem to be working, unfortunately.

now I can't edit it. Tried reading all the tutorials but they all mention an attachment button which I don't seem to have. Not sure how to fix it.

    I'll help...

With the 'open' end of the sling mounted on the front swivel, you appear to have it on correctly.

Here's a link to a sling thread I posted on Gunboards a little while ago Some Finnish Mosin Slings....

Ah. Legend, thanks for your assistance. I did quite a bit of research. Found plenty of info on actual slings, but couldn't find a picture of the canvas sling mounted. Took an educated guess. Thanks again for your help.
